The Leicester Media School offers a range of technical, creative and communications courses at foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate level. Many of our courses benefit from industry collaborations and partnerships with Channel 4, Creative Media Skills and Phoenix Film and Digital Media Centre.

Our multi-million pound Creative Technology Studios includes:

  • Audio recording studios
  • Staging and editing equipment
  • Television studies
  • Mac-equipped computer suites
  • Newsroom suites
  • Broadcast-standard radio production facilities

Film students benefit from lectures in the local Phoenix Square Cinema, where you will be taught in a real cinema environment. Music students also have access to the state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centre for Excellence, with dedicated sound performance rooms and our Courtyard Studio - a professional grade, fully sound-isolated recording, mixing and composing environment.
