De Montfort University through the Imaging and Displays Research Group is pleased to offer a programme of short courses in 3D imaging tailored for the film and television industry imaging specialists and those with a specific interest in the field. The course aims to equip participants with the knowledge to successfully enter the growing 3D industry.
The course provides a concrete understanding of basic principles and pitfalls that should be considered for 3D capture and display. Providing hands on time with state-of-the-art 3D cameras and display systems, the course combines traditional lecture sessions with "workshop" sessions at De Montfort University's holographic laboratory.
The course is designed for Film and Television industry imaging specialists and those with a specific interest in the field and students requiring key understanding in photonics and wave-front reconstruction.

Panasonic- The IDRG has a close partnership with Panasonic to allow participants to use state-of-the-art equipment.
The course will be delivered at De Montfort University, Leicester, using the Holographic Laboratory and equipment provided by Panasonic.
